	Denton Township Denton Township is located in central Roscommon County along the southeast coastline of Houghton Lake, Michigan's largest inland lake. Its largest community is Prudenville, where township offices are located. There are many stores, restaurants and places to stay here, most of which are situated on a heavily traveled portion of M-55 running along the lake's south side.
